Certified quality
In 1997 Det Norske Veritas certified that Pisa Airport complied with UNI EN ISO 9002 quality standards.
SAT has been the first airport management company in Italy to obtain the quality certification for all airport services, freight services included.
Personalized Customer Service
The freight service certification is an acknowledgment of quality aspects ranging from assistance to mixed passenger/freight scheduled flights and truck transport to typical ramp operations: from the preparation of goods for loading units (palletization) to aircraft loading and unloading.
Made to measure service
The reliability and flexibility of the system make it possible to prevent the congestion that is typical of larger or poorly equipped airports. SAT’s quality control and responsiveness enable Galileo Galilei Airport to provide a “made-to-measure” customer service.
For this reason, Pisa is an ideal place for sending or receiving perishables, fragile items, and other goods that require special attention by experienced and highly motivated personnel on account of their value, size and characteristics.
